Making Merry

What a great Christmas!  We had so many fun people around to help us celebrate, including both my sister, brother and his wife Rachel Price Jr., my parents, Gordon's parents and the other Portland siblings.  It was so busy and so much fun.  We're so glad everyone came and had such a great time!

The boys really enjoyed getting to know their uncle Theron.  Due to health challenges for the past decade, my brother hasn't been himself for much of that time.  It was so wonderful to see him healthy again and watch him play for three days straight.  It was like getting my little brother back, the one I remember.  So glad he is feeling well and that my kids got to spend some time with him. All other uncle's better be warned that he ran a pretty tough campaign for "favorite uncle," so it's a good thing we're not picking favorites.  :)
Here we see some elves putting together something very large and fun for Christmas morning!
The stockings were hung. . .
 Monkeybread for breakfast.  Yummo.

Aunt Rachel.  Rachel Price the second.  Love her!  (and her mad haircutting skills)

Theron really got into the bop it groove. . .  He would be proud to know we have now opened up Expert and Master levels. . .
Another budding ballerina?  Wait a minute, that's Emilee's tutu!
Merry Christmas to all!  It was a whirlwind month but it holds so many fond memories I can hardly wait for next year.

Isn't it Grand?

This Christmas my children were the luckiest grandkids in the world, because they had all four of their Grandparents here visitng!  It was a "grand" time had by all!

Ready for church. . .
Over this past few weeks we've had a bit of an extended family emergency.  Gordon's sister Keren has been hospitalized due to ruptured membranes at only 28 weeks pregnant.  She has been stuck in the hospital ever since (and I'm happy to report doing very well) and will be until this baby is born.  Hopefully that won't be for another month or so.  ANYHOW, we got to take care of her two children Carolyn and Blake for a while.  After trying our hands at parenting 7 children for more than a week, 5 feels almost quiet!

Here is a little dance party highlight from one of our first nights together. . .

The kids had a great time and would like to know when the cousins can move back in.  We're keeping their beds ready just in case we get to temporarily adopt them again!

Lucky #13

Happy 13th anniversary to Gordon and I (December 19th)

Due to our extended houseguests and extra children, we canceled our sitter and decided to stay home and make cookies instead.  13 cookies for 13 years were shared by all.

Aidan took this picture with his eyes closed so he wouldn't have to witness the disgusting kiss.

Heidi's new trick

About a week before Christmas our little Heidi started to roll over from her back to her tummy.  She's been doing sit ups and training for crawling ever since.  :)

It must be Friday

Here is how I like to start every Friday.  Add about 1/2 again more, and then we're getting there, and this is just for the kids!  No bedding, towels, or mom and dad laundry.  I am so thankful for my gigantic washing machine!

Nativity

I'm getting so behind!  So much going on here, just like at your house I'm sure!  One of the things we've worked on this month is this little nativity, that was shown at last night's ward party.  The kids were so cute and everyone enjoyed it!

This upload of the show will be terrible quality, we are working on a way to share this file with everyone in the ward who asks, so if you would like it please let me know!  We're working on it!

More to come soon. . .  I need to figure out this new computer!
