Two days after we got back from Germany, Aidan received his Arrow of Light award from cub scouts, and had his bridge crossing ceremony into Boy Scouts. Aidan was there in his baseball pants so he could go straight to practice. We wouldn't want to miss! EVER. :) Great Job Aidan! We are proud of you for completing this and are so excited that Daddy is now your Scout Master. Great job!

Deutschland!
I am not going to blog about our trip to Germany and Austria, but I did want to put a photo in as a placeholder, just to remember that it happened. It was magical. It was beautiful. It was amazing. See photo book for details.

Mothers Day
Mothers day was grand. The children brought me breakfast in bed, followed by dessert (Mint ice cream!) while I was in the tub! Does it get any better? :)
My dinner request was dinner and a movie, so we had finger food on picnic blankets and watched "A League of Their Own." Everybody loved it and we had a lovely evening!
Traditional front porch photos. . . The only thing I ever demand on mothers day.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
It's Baseball Season! Aidan has been really enjoying his time on the field. The crazy schedule gets old, but it's so fun to go to the ball game and watch Aidan play! He generally plays third, first, or outfield, and even got to pitch an inning in his last game. He did great! Even the other kids love to go to baseball. There are always other kids to play with, and don't forget your quarter for the snack shack!
Here is an extremely small video of the triple he hit the other day. . . They almost caught him in a pickle between second and third, but he made it!
